The location was ideal for our family trip, right by the beach, and we loved the cozy vibe of our room! However, the breakfast options were disappointing, mainly grab-and-go with limited choices. 😔

The room was cozy with a kitchenette, fridge, and microwave. Ocean views were breathtaking. The pool area had plenty of sun loungers and was super relaxing. Breakfast was impressive, with a variety of fresh options. The staff was helpful, making the whole stay enjoyable. The atmosphere? Perfect for chilling out!

i recently stayed here for two nights, and it totally surpassed my expectations from previous stays in key west. the pool area was stunning, with complimentary smoothies and attentive service that made it easy to unwind. i loved the cozy rooms and the modern amenities like the nespresso machine, which really added to the experience.
the breakfast options were quite limited.

The Queen Room with Balcony features a spacious layout and clean aesthetics, perfect for a couple looking to unwind. The close proximity to the local attractions allowed easy excursions without the hassle of long travel times.
The hotel feels oddly sterile, lacking any real personality—no plates or glassware in the kitchen area, just plastic. The tiki bar didn’t have the ingredients for popular cocktails, which was a letdown, and the only way to get to the lobby from the slippery parking lot was to walk around or risk a tumble up a wet hill. While the pool is nice for a dip, the inability to go into the Gulf from the property felt like a missed opportunity. Lastly, room temperature control was an issue. it remained uncomfortably cold unless the balcony door was left open.

The stay was great overall! I loved the rooms, especially the king-size bed, and the pool was a highlight for my kids—they had a fantastic time with the noodles provided. The gym could use some improvement in space and flooring, and it was a bit too far from the main attractions for my liking. However, the staff was helpful, and I appreciated having grocery stores nearby for snacks in the room.

Limited restaurant and bar hours! ! Noise issues in rooms! The beach access is a joke! High prices for food and drinks! Delayed room cleaning services! The lack of an ATM on-site is quite inconvenient!

From the heavenly sandwiches at the pool bar to the spacious rooms with stunning ocean views, Capitana felt like our own slice of paradise! Add to that the friendly staff and the perfect lounging vibes by the pool—total bliss.
But, a cheeky critique, some pool and bar staff were MIA when we needed them. I felt like I was chasing ghosts for drinks—a bartender even told me to wait! At least the wildlife made me laugh when an iguana went for my wife's water. Classic Key West moment!

Beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere
Our family had a fantastic time in this lovely hotel, enjoying the stunning ocean views from our spacious room and the inviting pool area that felt like a true paradise. The staff were genuinely welcoming, enhancing our experience with their attentive service. Breakfast offered a delightful selection, including fresh fruits and hot items. The only downside was the limited access to the beach, which could provide a more complete coastal experience.

I loved how spacious the King Room with Balcony felt, with a stunning view of the ocean. The staff here is exceptional. they genuinely care about making your stay enjoyable. The daily breakfast offered plenty of choices—pancakes, waffles, eggs, and yogurt. The pool area was relaxing, but it’s a bummer the tiki bar closed at 8 PM. I didn’t encounter any annoying noise, which made for a peaceful night’s sleep. A few ground-level balconies had worms, which looked pretty unappealing from my breakfast spot, but thankfully, my room was on an upper level. The location is superb, just a quick drive to Duval Street. Overall, a great stay, though having the bar open later would be a nice touch.

Staying here was pure bliss. We spent countless hours at the pool with cocktails in hand, the service was so fast, it felt almost like we were at a five-star restaurant. Those drinks just kept coming, and trust me, they were top-notch.
It was a bit on the pricey side, but worth the splurge.
